Turin, chopped body found in an apartment in via Gulli

The body of a man cut into pieces and hidden in some large black bags in the bathroom of an apartment was found during the night in an apartment in the Madonna di Campagna district of Turin. The police flying squad is investigating the case.

Next to the body there were knives in a bucket. The police officers arrived at the discovery after a woman called 112, who claimed her son had harmed a person.

When they ran to the woman, her son was with her and the police were told where the body was: not in their house, but on the opposite side of the city, in via Gulli. Having reached this second apartment, the police found the human remains.

Two young people, in their twenties, were accompanied to the Mobile offices to be interviewed about their possible involvement in the victim's death. The killed man, pending identification, does not appear to be a resident of the apartment where his body was found. Meanwhile, the police, in addition to the two young people, are interviewing a series of other people to reconstruct what happened.

The body in pieces at a teacher's house

She is a 49-year-old teacher, originally from Rieti, the tenant of the apartment in via Gulli, where the body was found during the night. The victim, yet to be identified, did not live in the home.

The investigations of the police flying squad, coordinated by prosecutor Lea Lamonaca, continue to reconstruct what happened and to clarify the relationships between the people who frequented the house and the killed man. The investigators also carried out searches in other apartments attributable to people suspected of being involved in the affair. Among these would be the accommodation on the opposite side of the city, in Mirafiori, of the young man whose mother had raised the alarm during the night. At the moment there are no people under arrest.

The investigators are continuing to interview several people who frequented the teacher's apartment, in an attempt to reconstruct the facts and what happened before the body was found. It still remains to be clarified whether the victim was killed in via Gulli, or whether the body was taken there at a later time.

"I've been living here for a short time, I don't know it well, there was always a coming and going of people, day and evening", says a condominium owner of the building in via Gulli. The woman who opened the door to the officers who intervened after a 112 report lives in the apartment on the fourth floor.

"I know her by sight - adds the neighbor - I often saw her with a little dog and accompanied by different people, friends who went up and down with her".
