Dead man near Pilsensee: Police assume homicide

A man found dead near Lake Pilsensee in Upper Bavaria is believed to have been the victim of a crime. After there were indications of external influence, an autopsy of the body confirmed death due to external violence, as the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North announced.

The 66-year-old was found lifeless in his driveway next to his car on Friday morning in the Starnberg district in the Hechendorf district of Seefeld. An emergency doctor could only determine his death. After there were indications of external influence, an investigation team was set up to clarify the exact circumstances of death and an autopsy of the body was ordered.
