According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; It is estimated that it will be partly and very cloudy throughout the country, and the east of Marmara, the Inner Aegean, the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia and the surroundings of Izmir, Adıyaman, Gaziantep and Kilis will be showery and thunderstorms. Rainfall; It is expected to be locally strong in the east of Marmara, the Toroslar Region of the Eastern Mediterranean, the northwest of Central Anatolia, the Western Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea coasts, Osmaniye and Samsun surroundings and the Hatay coasts.

AIR TEMPERATURE: It is estimated that it will decrease noticeably throughout the country, below seasonal norms in the central and western parts, and around seasonal norms in the eastern regions.

WIND: It is expected that the wind will generally blow from the north, south and south in the eastern parts, with light wind, occasionally with medium strength, and strong (40-60 km/h) in the Marmara and Aegean and Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.

ISTANBUL AND ANKARA SURRENDER TO THE RAIN

Following the warnings of the General Directorate of Meteorology, due to the short-term heavy rain in some parts of the city, puddles formed on the streets and some underpasses, houses and workplaces were flooded.

In Istanbul, traffic congestion occurred in some areas in the morning hours of the first working day of the week, due to the rain.

On the European Side, thunderstorms affected Beşiktaş, Fatih, Şişli, Bakırköy, Sultangazi, Eyüpsultan, Esenler, Küçükçekmece and Kağıthane districts. In Ankara; Due to the heavy rain, puddles formed on streets, boulevards and under some bridges.

AKOM GIVES A HOUR: RAIN WILL INCREASE ITS IMPENSITY

According to the warning of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM); While rain transitions are expected throughout the day, the rain will increase in intensity again in the evening hours.

In the statement made by AKOM; "While local heavy rain showers are expected to continue throughout the day, it is estimated that the rain will spread throughout the province again and increase its effect from the evening hours (18.00). It is predicted that the cold and rainy weather will continue to be effective in our region until the evening hours (20.00) on Wednesday." statements were included.
