On Wednesday, the police received a report about damage to a car that occurred at Franciszkańska Street in Sosnowiec.

When the officers arrived at the scene, they determined that a load had most likely been placed on the parked car. During the explosion, it damaged the Peugeot's windows, mirror and body. Fortunately, no one was hurt in this incident.

The former partner of the car owner was detained

Based on the testimony of the owner of the Peugeot, the police determined that the load on the car could have been placed by her former partner - a 45-year-old resident of Sosnowiec. Shortly after the incident, he was detained by police officers in Będzin.

The police and firefighters searched the apartment and utility rooms occupied by the 45-year-old at Mikołajczyka Street. For the duration of this action - for safety reasons - the building's residents were evacuated.

During the search, the officers seized materials and substances, as well as items resembling weapons. All of them will be analyzed in detail by experts.

Today, the 45-year-old will be brought to the prosecutor's office

The 45-year-old will be brought to the Sosnowiec prosecutor's office today. As RMF FM journalist Marcin Buczek heard, the charges against him will most likely involve causing a threat to the life and health of other people.
