Norwegian authorities criticized for trying to hide Zelensky's visit to the funeral of King Harald V

In Norway, the country's authorities were criticized for trying until the last minute to hide the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Oslo for the funeral of King Harald V. This was pointed out by the publication Dagbladet.

As the journalists noted, they contacted the Foreign Ministry in advance, asking whether Zelensky would come to the country, but they refused to answer this question. “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs referred to the Office of the Prime Minister of Norway, which refused to comment on this matter,” the material says.

At the same time, the Foreign Ministry later explained that the list of those participating in the funerals of heads of state is classified. In response to this, Dagbladet recalled that each state has the right to announce its participation, hinting that Zelensky himself also did not comment on the upcoming trip.
