YouTube Improves User and Creator Experience with New Artificial Intelligence-Powered Features

The company is particularly focused on AI-powered tools, personalized content discovery, and streamlining the video creation processes of content creators.

Custom Feeds feature is coming, which shapes the home page for viewers according to their interests. Users will be able to create custom content streams by typing in a specific topic or mood. Ask YouTube, on the other hand, will offer artificial intelligence-supported answers to video and product searches.

On the content producers' side, new artificial intelligence tools will be added to YouTube Studio.

The Gemini-supported chat-based editing tool, which will work within Shorts and YouTube Create, will be able to cut pauses in videos, synchronize music and change the image order. YouTube Studio will additionally give feedback for videos, create thumbnails that match the style of the channel, and allow you to compare three different video edits.

The company will also bring the Likeness Detection system, developed to protect face and voice use, to mobile devices.

On YouTube Shorts, videos can now be organized into seasons and episodes. Thus, a more traditional division system can be used, especially for short series and microdramas. Real-time automatic dubbing and a co-broadcast feature called Live Showdowns are coming to live broadcasts. Ask Music, announced for YouTube Music users, will enable music and podcast search through natural language. Podcast Lineup will offer personalized podcast recommendations with short audio summaries every week.
