Democratic Progressive Party Taipei mayoral candidate Shen Boyang announced today (30th) that the "Taipei Ocean Current" project will be launched in October, combining car sweeps in six major constituencies, municipal lectures and the official LINE digital interactive mechanism. The event will visit various districts in Taipei to listen to public opinion, and directly announce the district's political priorities for the first 100 days, one year and four years after taking office at each event.

Shen Boyang held the "Ocean Current Press Conference" at the campaign headquarters today. Lai Qingde, campaign general director Xu Guoyong, director general Wu Siyao, executive director Wu Peiyi, deputy chairman Wu Yinong, chief deputy director general Li Jianchang, policy convener Chen Peiyu, and publicity convener Fan Yun gathered together to demonstrate the Taipei team's unity and determination to win.

Shen Boyang said that in August, the campaign team focused on policies applicable to the whole city. In September, it launched an online and physical "Mayor, Listen to Me" to collect opinions and fine-tune political opinions. Considering the different needs of Taipei City's six major constituencies, in October it was decided to combine political opinion propaganda and public opinion reflection into one. He emphasized that this activity is not a traditional campaign to shout "frozen garlic", but hopes to create an easy-to-join communication form so that citizens' voices can be heard and specific solutions can be heard on the spot.

Regarding the event planning, Shen Boyang introduced that there will be a total of six "Ocean Current Car Sweeping" events, covering six major constituencies in Taipei City. The "Ocean Current Car Sweeping" will start at 5:30 pm in each session, and the "Ocean Current Municipal Lecture" will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 pm to interact with the public. The order of events is Zhongshan Datong on October 11th, Songshan Xinyi on the 18th, Hunan Port on the 25th, Zhongzheng Wanhua on the 31st, Daan Wenshan on November 1st, and Beitou Shilin on November 17th.

In terms of digital interaction, Shen Boyang pointed out that the team has introduced a "crew certificate" mechanism in the official LINE. After the public binds their account to receive the certificate, they can participate in various car scans and lectures. The system provides three functions, including the "Ocean Current Radar" that uses GPS to display the car scan status in real time to facilitate people to join in midway, the "Future Route" that can check the subsequent itinerary, and the AR function "Ocean Current Telescope" that turns on the camera to light up the ocean current poster.

Shen Boyang further explained that there will be a "Message in a Bottle" session at the lecture. After people scan a specific QR Code, their messages will be instantly displayed on the big screen at the lecture, and some people will be arranged to come on stage to interact. In addition, the team will also prioritize on-site, announce to the public the three things that the constituency wants to do most, specify the stage plans within 100 days, 1 year and 4 years of taking office, and discuss regional development across political positions.
