In the Kemerovo region, a 17-year-old resident beat a man to death.

The victim was hospitalized, but died in hospital from his injuries.

The court sentenced the perpetrator to six years in prison in a correctional colony.

KEMEROVO, September 29 - RIA Novosti. A seventeen-year-old resident of Kuzbass, who beat a man to death, received six years in a correctional colony, RIA Novosti was told in the Department of Criminal Investigations for the Kemerovo Region.

“It was established that during the daytime on June 29, 2026, the defendant, during a conflict with his acquaintance, inflicted multiple punches and kicks on him in the head, chest and upper and lower extremities. After a while, the victim felt a deterioration in health, and therefore was hospitalized. Despite timely qualified medical care, the man died from his injuries in the hospital,” the department reported.

The court found a 17-year-old resident of the region guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim).
