Recently, the Public Security Department of Zaozhuang, Shandong Province, detected a case of infringement of citizens' personal information, eliminated two criminal gangs, arrested 28 people involved, seized more than 40 million pieces of citizens' personal information illegally obtained and resold, and found out that the amount involved in the case was more than 6 million yuan.

In May 2026, the Zaozhuang and Tengzhou Public Security and Cybersecurity Department discovered during their work that Internet user Ma Moumou had purchased large amounts of citizens' personal information through illegal channels for a long time, and used it in batches for phone sales of loan business, seriously affecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, and the Public Security and Cybersecurity Department quickly launched an investigation.

After investigation, Ma Moumou organized a large number of people to illegally obtain and resell citizens' personal information on a large scale, setting up a complete black criminal chain of "acquisition-organization-distribution-realization", which has a wide radiation range, a huge number of cases involved, and is extremely harmful to society. After clarifying the facts of the case, the police went to multiple places and arrested all 28 people involved in the case, completely destroying this criminal gang that infringed on citizens' personal information.
