[Reporter Luo Xinzhen/Pingtung Report] The "A Monkey Land Sweeper 2" tour event co-created by Pinwheel Pingtung members has launched a new program "Good News for You". The first show will be held at 5:00 pm on September 28th at the square in front of the Pingtung Art Museum. It will continue to tour 28 shows in various towns in the county. Admission is free. The county government welcomes friends of all ages to watch the theater together and learn about the big and small things in Pingtung life.

The Pingtung County Government stated that "Monkey 2" continues the creative direction of dramas based on life. This year, it will further strengthen music, singing, dancing and entertainment, and add more diverse performance forms. It is hoped that while watching the theatre, listening to songs and laughing, the villagers will naturally understand the new construction, life information and practical benefits of Pingtung, making art performances more relevant to people's daily lives.

"Good Fortune to You" is full of Pingtung flavor from the opening interactive. It uses jigsaw puzzles to introduce new attractions in Pingtung in recent years, including Hengchun Cultural Center in the southernmost part of Taiwan, Hengchun Chuhuo Geopark, etc., leading the audience to re-understand the changes taking place in their hometown. The performance also integrates investment, relationship fraud, as well as life aspects such as dementia and elderly care into the plot. The county bird "Red-tailed Shrike" will also be transformed into a cute character on the stage.

In addition to acting, singing, and dancing, the actors also improvise on the spot, pick up guitars to play and sing, and even cook on the stage, allowing the audience to participate in the scene from sight, hearing, smell, to the atmosphere of the scene.

The Paper Windmill Theater Company's "A Monkey Lands Sweeping 2 - Good News for You" will start a tour on September 28.
