China News Service, Beijing, September 28 (Reporter Liu Wenwen) The reporter learned from Beijing Capital International Airport on the 28th that during the National Day holiday in 2026, Capital Airport is expected to transport more than 1.66 million passengers, with an average of 237,000 passengers per day; it will guarantee 9,448 flights, with an average of 1,350 flights per day. The peak days of passenger travel were on October 1 and October 7 respectively, with single-day passenger flow exceeding 245,000.

This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays are only three working days apart, so some passengers choose to travel during the holidays. Data shows that the Capital Airport is expected to transport more than 3.03 million passengers from September 25 to October 7, with an average of 233,000 passengers per day. Affected by the multiple staggered peak travel patterns of "Mid-Autumn Festival short-distance travel, National Day long-distance travel, and double-holiday long-distance travel", passenger traffic did not show the typical surge and fall trend during the holidays, and the overall trend was at a high level and fluctuated. During the long holiday, travel in cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Guiyang became more popular, and popular international travel destinations were mainly Bangkok, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bali.
