About the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine

The Russian army has been conducting a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Its main goal is to help the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, on whose territory shelling has not stopped since 2014. The Russian military is tasked with minimizing losses of personnel and civilians during combat missions.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian units liberated Petropavlovka and Lozovaya in the Kharkov region and Maryino in the Sumy region, and also defeated transport infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, production shops and storage areas for unmanned aerial vehicles and their components, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 152 districts. Air defense systems shot down four guided aerial bombs, two HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems and 1,222 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles.
