China News Service, Chengdu, August 20 (Shan Peng) The "Open Chengdu·Connect the World" intelligent manufacturing industry express train was held in Chengdu Tianfu International Bio-City on the 20th.
25 trainees and industry representatives from Armenia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Lesotho, Iraq, and Thailand went to the front lines of Chengdu's industry, inspected Chengdu Beshim Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and had in-depth connections with four local biomedicine and intelligent manufacturing companies.
Standards are the universal language of international trade and the cornerstone of industrial cooperation. As an important node city in the “One Belt and One Road” initiative, Chengdu continues to deepen standardization exchanges and cooperation with co-building countries, and conducts international exchange activities on a regular basis in multilateral regions such as BRICS, ASEAN, and Central Asia. This event uses the standardization cooperation training class as a link to bring officials from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative to the front lines of Chengdu's industries, achieving the same frequency resonance of standards docking and industry docking, and building an efficient bridge for international industrial cooperation.
The first stop of the training class was Chengdu Beshimei Medical Technology Co., Ltd. This national high-tech enterprise founded in 2013 is the first domestic enterprise to realize the layout of the entire dental implant industry chain. In the intelligent production base and AI R&D center, the students visited the product exhibition hall and automated production lines, and immersed themselves in the full-process intelligent manufacturing capabilities.
Subsequently, the training class went into the Chengdu Tianfu International Biocity Cultural Center to learn about the complete industrial ecology of the park from source research and development to industrialization, from clinical application to overseas expansion, and gained a more intuitive understanding of the clustering and international development pattern of Chengdu's biopharmaceutical industry.
At a promotion and exchange meeting held at the Tianfu International Biocity Cultural Center in Chengdu, Mohammadjan Islomkulov, chief expert of the Uzbekistan Industrial Cooperation and Government Procurement Agency, shared Uzbekistan’s industrial development needs and cooperation vision. The Chengdu Opening-up and Cooperation Promotion Center introduced the "Open Chengdu" overseas service system, and the Chengdu High-tech Zone Bio-Industry Bureau specially promoted Tianfu International Bio-City. Four local Chengdu companies conducted road shows in sequence to promote core technologies and cooperation intentions.
"The innovation speed and international level of Chengdu's intelligent manufacturing and biopharmaceutical industries are impressive, and we look forward to establishing a closer cooperative relationship with Chengdu." Many students said that this event has built an efficient communication bridge for both parties. In the future, they hope to use Chengdu's one-stop overseas service system to promote in-depth connection between domestic industries and Chengdu enterprises.
This event opened up a precise connection channel between the "Belt and Road" co-building countries and Chengdu's medical and health industry chain, demonstrated Chengdu's intelligent manufacturing industry advantages and standardization construction results to the outside world, helped local leading companies expand the "Belt and Road" market internally, promoted the introduction of foreign investment and improved the quality of foreign trade in both directions, and supported the development of industrial park enterprises with a high level of openness.
