The Central Meteorological Administration pointed out that today (29th) the weather will be sunny to cloudy in various places. There is a chance of sporadic showers in the mountainous areas after noon, while the daytime high temperature is about 32 to 36 degrees. Some areas in the Greater Taipei Basin, Hualien Longitudinal Valley and the western half of the inland area may have a high temperature of about 36 degrees or above. The ultraviolet rays are strong around noon and can easily reach excessive or dangerous levels. Please pay attention to sun protection and drink more water when going out. The low temperature in various places at night and early morning is generally 24 to 27 degrees.
As for the weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 27 to 31 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 32 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 31 degrees. In terms of air quality, Zhumiao, Central, Yunjianan, Gaoping, Yilan, Huadong Kongpin District and Penghu are at the "good" level; the northern Kongpin District and Matsu are at the "ordinary" level; Kinmen is at the "orange alert" level.

The northeast monsoon weakened slightly on Saturday (3rd) and the water vapor decreased. However, the northeast monsoon will strengthen again next Sunday (4th) to next Monday (5th). There will be local short-lived showers in the northern and eastern half of the windward side. It will be cloudy to sunny in other areas. There will be local short-lived showers in the southern areas and central mountainous areas in the afternoon.
