The northeast monsoon will return in early October. Lin De'en, a doctor of atmospheric sciences at National Taiwan University, pointed out that the northeast monsoon will strengthen this Thursday (October 1) and is expected to affect the area for about three days. Lin Deen said that other areas will still maintain cloudy to sunny weather patterns, and local sporadic short-lived showers may also occur in the south and other mountainous areas in the afternoon.

According to the latest weather information from the Central Meteorological Administration this morning, this wave of northeast monsoon will affect the country for about three days. The high temperature will drop slightly in some areas from Friday to Saturday. The high temperature in the north, northeast, eastern half and outlying islands will be about 29 to 33 degrees; the high temperature in the central and southern parts will remain at 32 to 34 degrees.
