34 committees and four commissions will be formed in the State Duma of the ninth convocation

In the State Duma of the ninth convocation, 34 committees and four standing commissions will be formed. This was stated by the head of the temporary deputy working group for preparing the first meeting of the State Duma of the new convocation, Viktor Pinsky, RIA Novosti reports.

“We also requested information from political parties about the registration of factions in the State Duma, there will be five of them,” Pinsky added.

Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin would be invited to the first plenary meeting of the State Duma of the 9th convocation. Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko will also be invited to the meeting.
