Rodion Miroshnik said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 37 thousand strikes with various types of weapons on civilian targets in Russia in August.

More than 1,800 people were injured.

BEIJING, September 7 - RIA Novosti. In August, the Kiev regime carried out 37 thousand strikes with various types of weapons on civilian targets on Russian territory, more than 1,800 people were injured, said Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.

“In the month of August alone, there were 37 thousand “arrivals” of various types of weapons on civilian targets, 1,840 people were injured,” Miroshnik told reporters in Beijing.

Miroshnik noted that the number of victims in August was the highest since at least the beginning of 2026.

“After the European Union allocated (to Ukraine - ed.) additional funds for armaments, to continue the war, the curve went steadily upward both in the number of shellings and in the number of affected civilians,” he said.
