Khamenei declares Iran the fourth power in the world and describes Nasrallah as the “Prince of the Arabs”

The Iranian leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, said that there are those who now consider his country “the fourth superpower in the world,” in light of its war with the United States, which he said “the day will come when” the Arabian Sea will be devoid of its forces.

Khamenei added, in his statement reported by the official news agency (IRNA), that “there were days when the enemy constantly sought to weaken the social incubator of the regime, but today, the various segments of society, despite their clear differences, insist on adhering to their right positions, including preserving the Strait of Hormuz, which is full of goodness and blessings.”

Khamenei pointed out that the maritime areas in southern Iran were “an arena in which enemy forces roamed, but today, because of the painful blows they received from the brave Mujahideen and the protectors of the Strait of Hormuz, they no longer advance beyond the Arabian Sea, and whenever they take risks and do so, they harm themselves; and soon the day will come when the Arabian Sea will be devoid of them as well.”

He continued: “This comparison between the past days and our current days can be expanded further and explained, but, in one word, I declare, as a servant of the dear people of Iran, that those past days to which our enemy wishes to return us are over, and will never be repeated.”

Khamenei stated that "there are those who consider us the fourth superpower in the world," considering that "they say that based on worldly calculations," while he saw that by "divine calculations" Iran is "the first power in the world."

The Iranian leader likened his country to a "phoenix," which "has increased in size today due to enemy pressures, especially the two recent imposed wars, to the point that the shadow of its flight extends to enemy lands as well."

He also praised the former Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, whom he described as "the prince of the Arabs and the great symbol of the resistance front," on the occasion of the second anniversary of his killing in Israeli air strikes two years ago. He said that "shame" awaits "those who pin their hopes (in Lebanon), in the face of the Zionist enemy, on the false promises of the arrogant powers and those who harbor ill intentions toward them."
