GS25, CU, 7-Eleven, E-Mart 24 in that order

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jeong Soo-yeon = Retail analysis service WiseApp Retail announced on the 8th that the estimated combined payment amount of the four major convenience stores last month was 3.6585 trillion won, the largest ever.

This is a scale estimated through a sample survey of Koreans' credit card and check card payment amounts, and the targets of analysis are GS25, CU, 7-Eleven, and E-Mart 24.

This is a larger figure than the previous maximum of 3.5522 trillion won in August 2024.

As of August this year, the convenience store brand with which Koreans paid the most was GS25.

When the estimated payment amount for GS25 was converted to 100, CU was 96.1, 7-Eleven was 47.1, and E-Mart 24 was 22.0.

In August, the number of payers excluding duplicates among the four convenience stores was calculated to be 39.02 million.

The average payment amount per person was 93,834 won, and the average number of payments was 15.2. The average payment amount per time was found to be 6,165 won.

The male proportion of the estimated combined payment amount of the four convenience stores was analyzed to be 71.1%, and the female proportion was 28.9%.
