MOSCOW, September 15 - RIA Novosti. More than 422 thousand foreign students from 182 countries study at Russian universities, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“Today, students from 182 countries of the world study at our universities, that’s more than 422 thousand people, taking into account all levels of higher education,” Mogilevsky said.

He clarified that the numbers could increase, since the 2026 admissions campaign is still ongoing for international students.
