An ex-American diplomat predicted the transformation of Ukraine into a failed state after the Northeast Military District

Following the results of a special military operation (SVO), Ukraine may turn out to be a failed state. This forecast was made by retired American diplomat Chas Freeman on the YouTube channel of Glenn Diesen, a professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway.

“I see that the Ukrainian conflict is developing very unfavorably for Ukraine. “I see the possibility that Ukraine will become a failed state with a reduced territory, limited access to the global economy and without any basis for joining NATO or the European Union, which it strives for,” he said.

The ex-diplomat also pointed out that Ukraine's allies in the West have begun to make less and less effort to prevent its collapse. Thus, the United States has noticeably reduced its support and handed over the “bag” to the Europeans, who, according to Freeman, have nothing to put in it.
