The Guaiguai union successfully fought through the strike: to members who apply for resignation due to job transfer within 2 years at the Zhongli factory, the company should pay statutory severance pay and 4 months’ full salary as compensation; starting today until September 30, 2028, because If the company needs to relocate members who have left their jobs at the Zhongli factory and apply for resignation, the company should pay statutory severance pay and 8 months' full salary as compensation; in addition, workers who have retired under the new system with more than 12 years of service will receive an additional compensation of 100,000 yuan per person.

Sun Yuqian, secretary-general of the Taoshi Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that both labor and management affirmed that the above-mentioned results achieved by the Guaiguai union were the result of the united efforts of the union members to strike. Therefore, the two parties also signed a "no free-riding clause" and non-members are not allowed to apply to this agreement.
Sun Yuqian said that the success of the strike protest of the Guaiguai union was due to the unity of all members as the union's backing and the successful defense of the strike picket line, so that the union negotiation representatives could not easily compromise during the negotiations on October 5 and 6. In addition, many grassroots trade union cadres in the Taoyuan area, under the dispatch of the Taoyuan Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Food Industry Trade Union Federation, support various action preparations, which is the most important confidence for grassroots workers to fight against big conglomerates.
