In the examinations of Uzunbacak, who was admitted to the hospital due to intestinal problems years later, it was determined that his other internal organs, apart from his kidneys and lungs, were located opposite to normal.

Dr. Uzunbacak, who was taken into surgery after the examinations performed by Kerim Güzel, got rid of the mass in his intestines with the operation planned according to the different placement of his organs. The unusual placement of the patient's organs during the surgery surprised the doctors. Uzunbacak, who was found to be in good health after the successful operation, said that he would definitely inform the doctors that his organs were inverted in his future health applications.

This is very important for us. It is very important to know this before the surgery. This is called 'situs inversus totalis'. It is an abnormal, congenital condition. It occurs in one in 10,000 people. We need to plan our surgery accordingly, because the beginning of the large intestine should be on the left. Since we will be intervening at the beginning of the large intestine, we need to prepare for the surgery accordingly. It is a difficult process, a difficult surgery. We have not seen so many patients with the location of organs changed in total. We were seeing patients with different intestinal locations. But we had one or two patients like that." "This is the first time in my medical life that we have encountered situs inversus totalis, that is, a complete organ change," he said.

Uzunbacak, whose treatment was performed according to the location of his organs, was discharged from the hospital as of today.
