When asked how much of the excess tax revenue would be invested in the Future Response Fund, which is worth 162 trillion won, Minister Park responded, "I cannot tell you the size yet," because the tax revenue re-estimate has not been completed.

He explained that if the Ministry of Finance and Economy officially releases the results of the re-estimates, we will be able to review and make a judgment based on them. “The scale is not even listed, so we cannot first judge by saying, ‘We will do this or that.’”

Minister Park added that once the results of the tax revenue re-estimate are released, a plan to use excess tax revenue will be decided in accordance with the law after internal discussions at the Planning Ministry and communication with the Blue House and the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
