According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, as of 7 p.m. on this day, the estimated time it takes from the Seoul toll gate to major cities across the country is 4 hours and 30 minutes in Busan, 4 hours and 10 minutes in Ulsan, and 3 hours and 40 minutes in Mokpo, so congestion on the return route appears to have been resolved.

It takes 3 hours and 30 minutes from Seoul to Daegu, 3 hours and 20 minutes from Gwangju, 2 hours and 40 minutes from Gangneung, and 1 hour and 50 minutes from Daejeon.

Conversely, the estimated travel time from each city to Seoul is 5 hours and 50 minutes for Busan, 5 hours and 30 minutes for Mokpo and Ulsan, 5 hours and 10 minutes for Gwangju, 4 hours and 50 minutes for Daegu, 3 hours and 20 minutes for Daejeon, and 3 hours for Gangneung.

Looking at the situation on major highways, sections of the Gyeongbu Expressway toward Busan are congested, including 2.68km near the Singal Junction and 4.39km near the Giheung Dongtan IC.

In the direction of Seoul, vehicles are walking at a turtle pace at 7.5km from Oksan Junction and 11km from Hwalcheon to Gyeongju.

Congestion continues on the west coast line, 2km near Buan in the direction of Seoul, 15km near the Donggunsan-Dongseocheon junction, and 3km near Gwangcheon.

The West Coast Expressway toward Seoul is showing a frustrating flow at 13.93km from Seogimje IC and 17km from Songak IC to Poseung JC.

Major roads in downtown Seoul are also congested due to heavy rain and heavy traffic.

Currently, congestion continues between the eastern main line junction of Olympic Expressway and the southern end of Yeongdong Bridge, as well as the southern end of Hannam Bridge and the southern end of Banpo Bridge, and there is also a frustrating flow of vehicles from the southern end of Yeongdong Bridge to the southern end of Seongsu Bridge.

On Gangbyeonbuk-ro, the section between the northern end of Dongho Bridge and the northern end of Banpo Bridge is congested.

On the northern arterial road, vehicles are also moving slowly between Mukdong IC and Wolleung IC and between Hongje Ramp and Yeonhui Ramp on the inner ring road.
