Al-Alimi sends a firm message to the Houthis and stresses the readiness of the armed forces

"Al-Alimi continued his meetings and contacts with military and field leadership, to review the course of operations, the level of combat readiness, and the operational and logistical needs of the armed forces and all military formations in the theater of operations," Saba Net agency reported.

The agency added: "The President held the Houthi militias fully responsible for the humanitarian repercussions of their escalation, and the violations they commit against civilians, including causing the displacement of hundreds of families from areas of confrontation, in blatant disregard for the lives of Yemenis, and their insistence on turning their children and regions into fuel for its sectarian project and the agenda of its supporters."

Al-Alimi stressed that "the state and its armed forces will not allow the Iranian regime's goal of controlling the Bab al-Mandab Strait to be achieved under any circumstances, and that any adventure towards these areas will turn into a harsh exhaustion for the militias."

He added: "Our people, who are following this battle with confidence and pride, must be reassured that their armed forces are fighting today with a solid will, unified leadership, and complete knowledge of the nature of the battle and the enemy's goals, and that these militias will not be more capable of steadfastness than the will of an entire people defending their state, their dignity, and their future."

Al-Alimi called on "all political and social forces, thought and awareness platforms, the media, and national elites, to assume their responsibility at this critical moment in the country's history, which requires unifying the internal front, strengthening confidence in the state, its institutions, and its armed forces, and not being drawn into the campaigns of misinformation and treason that the militias are betting on to undermine the morale of the Yemenis," according to the agency.
