A 62-year-old man will stand trial in Krasnoyarsk for abusing an eight-year-old girl in 2017

In Krasnoyarsk, a 62-year-old local resident will stand trial for abusing an eight-year-old girl. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

In August 2017, an unknown person abused a child at the entrance and disappeared. After this, a criminal case was opened, but it was not possible to find the culprit. Years later, law enforcement officers found a witness who identified the defendant. He was under surveillance, during which his video image was obtained. It matched the video recovered from the scene. The man was also identified by the victim.

During searches of his home, they found the sweater he was wearing at the time of the crime. The man himself also confessed. He was taken into custody. The man is accused of a crime under the article on other acts of a sexual nature committed against a person under 14 years of age.
