Police operation in Heidenheim an der Brenz

There was a police operation in Heidenheim an der Brenz during the night and early morning. A spokesman for the police in Ulm said this morning that no further information was being provided. Forensics are still on site. According to the Ellwangen public prosecutor's office, there will be a joint press release with the police late this morning.

According to a dpa reporter, there were several cartridge cases at the scene and there were also bullet holes in a house wall. The police and public prosecutor's office initially did not comment on the possibility of a shot being fired. Photos from the scene showed red and white barrier tape in front of houses in a residential area.
