The son of the Usoltseva family who disappeared in the taiga said that he considers his parents alive a year after the disappearance

The son of Irina Usoltseva, who disappeared along with her husband and daughter in the Krasnoyarsk taiga, Daniil Batalov, said that a year after their disappearance he still considers the family alive. He told RIA Novosti about this.

“No, I don’t want to apply to recognize my living parents as dead,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Earlier, Danil Batalov said that the Usoltsevs are not in the taiga of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Then he expressed confidence that the family had fled and was abroad. In his opinion, if the Usoltsevs had been in the taiga, rescuers would have long ago found the things that belonged to them, but this did not happen.

The Usoltsev couple and their five-year-old daughter disappeared on September 28, 2025, near the village of Kuturchin. The family was going on a one-day hike to a mountain range, after which they stopped communicating. Large-scale search and rescue operations, which involved helicopters and hundreds of volunteers, brought no results.
