The Guangzhou City Child Care Service "6S" (6 Safety, six safety dimensions) management platform was released at the ceremony to provide standardized and digital management tools for child care institutions and promote standardized operations in the industry.

Child care is mainly for infants and young children aged 0 to 3 years old. Professional institutions undertake care and nurturing services to reduce the burden of childcare on families. It is an important part of inclusive people's livelihood services.

As the most populous and birth-producing province in Mainland China, Guangdong Province has 15,000 childcare service institutions by the end of 2025, providing 720,000 childcare places and 5.6 childcare centers per 1,000 people, ranking first in the mainland.

Guangzhou has a permanent population of over 19.1 million, and the demand for childcare is very strong. As of now, the total number of care places in Guangzhou has reached 122,000, and the number of care centers per 1,000 people has increased to 6.1. The proportion of inclusive care places exceeds 70%. On the same day, Guangzhou released the "6S" management platform for childcare services, which protects the entire childcare scene through AI digital intelligence in six aspects: equipment safety, electricity safety, behavioral safety, food safety, health safety, and environmental safety.

Hu Yan, director of the Guangzhou Infant Care Service Guidance Center for children under 3 years old, introduced that the "Behavioral Safety Module" of the "6S" management platform for childcare services uses AI to identify risky behaviors such as falling and falling to achieve real-time warnings; the "Food Safety Module" conducts AI inspections of bright kitchen stoves, and food samples are retained to achieve digital traces throughout the entire process; the "Environmental Safety Module" monitors environmental indicators such as PM2.5, carbon dioxide, and water quality in real time.

At present, the "6S" platform has completed pilot projects in more than 30 institutions in Guangzhou, and will gradually cover nearly 2,000 childcare institutions in the city starting from October. (over)
