China News Service, September 23 (Xinhua) According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, yesterday, heavy or torrential rains occurred in southern Sichuan, Chongqing, southwestern Hubei, northern Hunan, central and western Fujian, eastern Guangdong, eastern Guangxi, and western Yunnan. Local heavy rains occurred in Liangshan, Sichuan, Baoshan, Yunnan, Yulin, and Hechi, Guangxi.

Starting from tomorrow, the scope of autumn rain will expand, and the autumn rain will intensify in the Jianghuai region from West China to Huanghuai. In the next three days, there will be moderate to heavy rains in parts of Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Henan, Shandong, Anhui, and Jiangsu. Among them, there will be heavy rains or heavy rains in northeastern Sichuan, northern Chongqing, southern Shaanxi, northern Hubei, southern Henan, and northern Anhui. Meteorological experts reminded that the autumn rains in West China lasted for a long time, and the cumulative rainfall in some areas was higher than the same period in history. The public was asked to be vigilant about possible secondary disasters such as landslides and mudslides, and to be cautious when going to areas prone to geological disasters such as mountainous areas and river valleys.
