The Central Meteorological Administration pointed out that today (22nd) there is still too much moisture in southern Taiwan. In addition to some short-lived showers in the southern region, with the possibility of heavier rains, there are also sporadic rainfalls in the Hengchun Peninsula, and it is cloudy to sunny in other areas. In the afternoon, there are some short-lived showers in the Chiayi area and the central mountainous and Huadong mountainous areas.

In terms of temperature, during the day, the high temperature in various places generally reaches 30 to 33 degrees, and it will be even higher in some inland areas. The ultraviolet rays are strong around noon, reaching excessive or dangerous levels. Please wear sunscreen and drink more water when going out. At night, it is slightly cooler in the early morning. The low temperature in the north and Yihua is 22 to 24 degrees, and in other areas it is about 25 or 26 degrees. As for the weather on the outlying islands, Penghu is sunny and cloudy at 26 to 29 degrees; Kinmen is sunny and cloudy at 25 to 30 degrees; Matsu is sunny and cloudy at 25 to 28 degrees.

In terms of air quality, the Yilan and Huadong air quality areas are at the "good" level; the northern, Zhumiao, Gaoping air quality areas, Matsu, and Penghu are at the "ordinary" level; the central region, Yunjia south air quality area, and Kinmen are at the "orange alert" level.

The wind field will turn to easterly from Wednesday (23rd) to next Sunday (27th), and it will be mostly cloudy to sunny in various places. There will be local short-lived showers in the southern mountainous areas in the afternoon, and scattered short-lived showers in the southern areas and the mountainous areas north of the central area. The moisture on the windward side will increase slightly on Wednesday and Thursday. Next Monday (28th), affected by the cloud system outside the typhoon, there will be some short-lived showers in the eastern half of the country and the Hengchun Peninsula. It will be cloudy in other areas, and there will be some short-lived showers in the mountainous areas in the afternoon. The high temperature forecast from Wednesday to next Monday is 29 to 32 degrees in the northern and eastern half, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, and 32 to 34 degrees in the central and southern parts. In terms of low temperature, it is 21 to 24 degrees in the north and Yilan, and 24 to 27 degrees in the central and southern parts, Huadong, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu.
