Starting from tomorrow (September 23), the rain will intensify in West China. Especially in eastern Sichuan, southern Shaanxi, northern Chongqing and other places, by the end of the month, the daily rainfall in the above-mentioned areas can reach moderate to heavy rains, local heavy rains or heavy rains, and the cumulative number of rainfall days can reach 6 to 9 days.

At the same time, as the high-altitude trough moves eastward, the rainy area will expand eastward tomorrow, and the rainfall in Huanghuai and Jianghuai will also increase. Moderate to heavy rain will usher in around the 25th.

At present, the meteorological drought levels in central and northern Jiangsu, northwest Anhui, Shandong and other places have reached moderate to severe drought, with local extreme drought. Increased rainfall will be very beneficial to alleviating the meteorological drought in the above areas. In addition, due to the frequent eastward movement of high-altitude troughs in North China and Northeast China in the next few days, process precipitation will also occur, mostly light to moderate rain.

Before the end of September, the rainy weather will continue in West China. Generally, stable precipitation will be the main force, but it will last for a long time, and the accumulated rainfall in some areas will be heavy. The public needs to be alert to secondary disasters such as landslides and mudslides that may be caused by continued rainfall, and stay away from disaster-prone areas such as mountainous areas.

The autumn rain in West China continues to exert force, but the cold air in the north is "preserving its strength" recently. Before the 28th, the overall intensity of the cold air affecting our country was weak. Although the temperature in the north fluctuated slightly due to the influence of weak cold air and rain, and would show a slow downward trend with fluctuations, the overall intensity was still close to or higher than normal for the same period of the year.

Especially today and tomorrow, the highest temperature in some places in North China, Huanghuai and even Liaoning and southeastern Inner Mongolia can reach around 30℃, and it will feel a little hot during the day.

In the south, due to the strong subtropical high pressure, the hot weather in Jiangnan and South China will continue, with the highest temperature generally above 30°C. High temperatures are likely to increase after the 25th, with Changsha, Nanchang, and Fuzhou all forecasting 2 to 3 days of high temperatures. The lowest temperature at night is mostly around 25°C, and it is relatively muggy from morning to night, and the air conditioner has to continue to "continue to run."

From the perspective of the autumn process, in the short term, due to the strong subtropical high pressure and the weak northern cold air, the country's autumn process will generally come to a standstill. At present, the cold air will be active and stronger after September 28, which may push the north to enter autumn around the National Day, and the front of autumn may also advance along the Yangtze River.
