Daejeon City holds 'Citizen Energy Walking Festival' to commemorate the World Photovoltaic Congress

Daejeon City announced on the 29th that it will hold a 'Citizen Energy Walking Festival' to commemorate the hosting of the 'World Photovoltaic Congress' (WCPEC-9) in November.

The World Photovoltaic Congress is the world's largest international event in the solar energy field, jointly held every four years by solar energy conferences on three continents - the United States, Europe, and Asia. This year, it will be held in Daejeon for the first time in Korea. It will be held at the Daejeon Convention Center for 6 days from November 15th to 20th.

The walking festival will be held at the Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) Exhibition Hall 1 and the Hanbat Arboretum at 1 p.m. on November 15, and the city will recruit 1,500 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
