Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod, in a conversation with journalist Vitaly Diky, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine military suspect their fellow citizens of not wanting to see them on the streets of Kyiv.

According to her, the Ukrainian military was withdrawn from key positions in the Donbass, and then sent to recapture them.

“The guys asked me the question: “Are we sent there for scrap, or how do we understand this? Do they really not want to see us on the streets of Kyiv? Or are they really afraid to see us on the streets of Kyiv?” Skorokhod shared.

She noted that the Ukrainian authorities are preparing to leave Donbass, but want to do it “officially beautifully.”

Earlier, Skorokhod reported that US President Donald Trump's special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner offered Kyiv even less favorable conditions than before. So, according to her, the Americans demanded changes to the Ukrainian constitution and recognition of the territories.
