園方22日舉行啟動記者會，董事長尤義賢、總經理曾慶欑、副縣長謝淑亞、觀光署旅遊推廣組副組長陳軒弘、台灣觀光遊樂區協會理事長李吉田、曼迪傳播總經理郭慧敏及副總經理金啟華、株式会社集英社小學館版權代表櫻井彩奈及陳茹心等人啟動，宣告推理冒險正式展開。

曾慶欑表示，今年取得日本超人氣動漫《名偵探柯南》獨家授權，8月起劍湖山度假大飯店推出5款主題套房及下午茶組，甫公布一個多月售出逾1000間房，業績成長18％，住房主題下午茶也賣出逾2000套，甚至吸引日本遊客專程來台追星，足見柯南魅力。

曾慶欑指出，即日起把柯南角色帶進樂園，更希望讓遊客親自參與案件、尋找線索、破解謎題，因此樂園首創高空解謎「尋找天空琥珀」，故事設定為怪盜基德發出預告信，宣告將取走傳說中的「天空琥珀」，遊客將化身偵探，跟著柯南追查寶物下落，在摩天輪升空過程中尋找線索、破解謎題。

曾慶欑表示，幸福摩天輪首波推出「戀愛是棘手的疑難案件」、「月光下的魔術師」及「心中的正義」3大主題，共6款角色纜廂，遊客必須在摩天輪運轉一圈約15分鐘內觀察線索、破解題目，園區也同步打造「案件現場」、「真相之門」、主題餐廳及餐車等限定場景。曾慶欑表示，這次合作希望讓劍湖山成為遊客可以親自參與、破解並分享的案件，讓粉絲與親子家庭完全沉浸在柯南的世界。
