Construction of a new substation was completed ahead of schedule in the Chelyabinsk region

CHELYABINSK, September 12 - RIA Novosti. The construction of a new substation near Chelyabinsk was completed ahead of schedule, this will provide uninterrupted power supply to several settlements of the Sosnovsky municipal district, said regional governor Alexey Teksler.

According to the head of the region, the village of Zapadny, which not so long ago became part of Chelyabinsk, and the neighboring villages of the Sosnovsky municipal district are an area of ​​active residential development; in these territories there were problems with electricity last winter.

“Together with the general director of Rosseti Ural, Dmitry Vodennikov, we checked the progress of construction of the new substation. The facility was planned to be completed by December, but power engineers are completing construction ahead of schedule. The station will provide uninterrupted power supply here,” the head of the region wrote on the Max platform.

According to him, the substation will begin operation in the near future, and the task is to enter the winter with additional capacity, which will ensure reliable power supply to a number of settlements in the Sosnovsky municipal district and the village of Zapadny.

According to the press service of the governor and the regional government, two power transformers have already been installed at the site - after completion of construction, the total capacity of the substation will be 32 MVA. A 110 kV open switchgear has been installed, and the installation of 10 kV equipment made in Russia continues.

The governor also noted that, according to the People's Program of United Russia and the regional project "Big Repair 74", the Poletayevo - Malinovka gas pipeline has been fully completed, in the future this will make it possible to gasify more than three thousand households. The first houses have already been connected to the main line; switching to gas will reduce the load on distribution networks in the village of Malinovka, including SNT, as well as in the villages of Zapadny and Severny, Texler explained.

Gas comes into homes and at the same time the power grids are unloaded, Texler emphasized. “Work is underway to prepare for the reliable passage of the autumn-winter period and high-quality power supply to consumers. In general, uninterrupted power supply to the village of Zapadny and the surrounding areas will enable developers to continue the construction of apartment buildings and will allow for the comprehensive development of housing infrastructure,” he said.

The head of the Sosnovsky municipal district, Evgeny Vaganov, said that a high-pressure gas pipeline Poletayevo - Malinovka with a length of 15 km has been built. “Work continues to prepare for the tie-in at the connection points and to prepare the as-built documentation. Alexey Texler gave me instructions to speed up gasification of populated areas: to complete the work on laying out networks and supplying fuel to consumers. The next stage will be the reconstruction of the Sargazy-Butaki high-pressure gas pipeline section. It is necessary to increase the capacity of the gas distribution network. This will create additional opportunities for further gasification of the actively developing territories of the Sosnovsky District,” the head of the district wrote on his page. on the social network VKontakte.
