AK Party Deputy Chairman Faruk Acar, at the press conference he held at the AK Party Niğde Provincial Directorate within the scope of "Turkey Century Meetings", said that they set out with the slogan "Turkey United with Brotherhood, Strengthened with Stability".
Reminding that the AK Party has left a quarter of a century behind, Acar stated that 25 years have been years of producing products from transportation to health, from education to industry, from defense to energy. Faruk Acar emphasized that they are not satisfied with the point they have reached as a party, and that they continue to open the door to the "Türkiye Century" under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Pointing out that the world is going through a turbulent period, Acar said: "The war continues in the north of the Black Sea. Blood does not stop in the Middle East. In such a geography, Turkey both strengthens its home and brings stability to its region. Turkey is trying hard for a ceasefire in Gaza, peace in Ukraine, and territorial integrity in Syria. As a matter of fact, our President once again demonstrated this will at the United Nations General Assembly and became the voice of the oppressed. At the same podium The genocidal Netanyahu targeted our country and our President, but the truth will not change just because Netanyahu is disturbed and afraid. We will continue to be the voice of Gaza and all the oppressed. Let us say this clearly, if Türkiye's voice is so loud, it is because it has a strong will and a strong defense industry behind it. Every project of ours, from Steel Dome to KAAN, from KIZILELMA to TCG Anadolu, is proof that our nation can survive with its own means.
Referring to the "Terror-Free Türkiye" process, Acar said that Türkiye has experienced the pain of terrorism for half a century. Mentioning that the nation has paid a great price, Acar said, "Today, hopefully, we are marching towards the goal of 'Terrorism-Free Turkey'. This march is progressing within the boundaries drawn by the law and under the supervision of our state's institutions. Weapons will be laid down, the organization will be ended. Our security institutions will determine this, and our National Security Council will approve it. The rights of our martyrs, veterans and relatives of martyrs will never be ignored." he said.
Acar stated that the political situation was clear as they focused on the big goal and that the opposition was experiencing divisions and internal debates.
"WE DO NOT DEFEND THOSE WHO MADE WRONG"
Arguing that the cities governed by the opposition produce advertisements and perception instead of serving the citizens, Acar continued as follows: "Our nation sees all of these and does not miss any of them. Our attitude is clear about the situation in the capital markets. Anyone who puts their hands on the rights and laws of the nation, whether through corruption in municipalities or stock market games, will find the state against them. We do not defend those who do wrong, we observe the presumption of innocence, we leave the verdict to the judiciary. The strange thing is that those who remain silent against the serious accusations around them try to give us moral lessons in their own way." "We have said before that those who attack state institutions to cover up their own dirt do not need to be so excited now. The law is working, the state is doing its part, and our party has taken the necessary steps."
Emphasizing that politics should act with a sense of responsibility in such periods, Acar said, "Growing up social anxiety and unsettling investors will not benefit anyone. Türkiye's strong financial structure and production capacity sit on a ground far beyond temporary fluctuations. We see stability in the economy, production and protecting the purchasing power of our citizens as our priority." He made a statement.
After the meeting, Faruk Acar visited the grave and father's house of martyr Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Ömer Halisdemir in Çukurkuyu town of Bor district.
