Nagehan Alçı's denial of the claim that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya returned 2.2 billion TL

Journalist Nagehan Alçı, known for his closeness to the AKP government, announced that the allegations that AKP member Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who is mentioned in the fund scandal on Türkiye's agenda, returned the money are denied.

Alçı said, "I was told from a couple of sources I trust that this news is not true."

It was claimed that former AKP Minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband İlyas Kaya returned approximately 2.2 billion TL of earnings they earned by buying and selling shares within 5 months.

According to Ekonomim's claim, Kaya and his wife transferred the said amount to the bank account declared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

However, pro-government journalist Nagehan Alçı announced that this claim was denied.

In his broadcast on his YouTube channel, Alçı said, "It was claimed that 2.2 billion liras were returned. My economy made this news very clearly. Other sites also received it. I asked my sources. I was told by a couple of sources I trust that this news is not true. As there is no legal process, it cannot be returned at this stage."
