Two cars crashed at Gediz junction of Altıntaş-Dumlupınar ring road, two people died

The accident occurred at the Gediz junction of Altıntaş-Dumlupınar ring road. The car with plate number 64 ABS 521, driven by Çetin Özkan, and the car with license plate 43 KN 792, driven by Abdülmütalip Yorulmaz, collided at the intersection. In the accident, Ayfer Yorulmaz (60) and Seher Efekoca (75), who were in Yorulmaz's vehicle, died at the scene. In addition to the driver Abdülmütalip Yorulmaz, Ayşe Yüksel, Ayşe Topsakal, Umriye Topsakal and the driver of the other car, Çetin Özkan, Seven Özkan, Belinay Özkan and Tuana Özkan were injured. Upon the notice of those who saw the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the area.

After the first intervention of the medical teams, the injured were taken to Altıntaş State Hospital and Kütahya City Hospital by ambulance and received treatment. The bodies of Ayfer Yorulmaz and Seher Efe Koca, who lost their lives in the accident, were taken to the hospital morgue after the prosecutor's office examined.

On the other hand, the moment of the accident was recorded on a workplace security camera. In the footage, two cars, one of which was turning from the intersection, collided head-on. The investigation into the accident continues.
