Retired police officer Ali Şekeroğlu, who attempted to end his life in Ankara, was buried

Retired police officer Ali Şekeroğlu, who attempted to end his life during the protest organized by retirees in front of the Constitutional Court (AYM) in Ankara and died in the hospital, was buried.

Şekeroğlu's body was received by his daughter and son-in-law from the Ankara Group Presidency of the Ministry of Justice, Forensic Medicine Institute.

HE WAS BURIED IN ELVANKÖY CEMETERY

After the noon prayer, the funeral prayer was performed for Ali Şekeroğlu at Ahi Mesud Söğüt Mosque. Şekeroğlu's body was later buried in Elvanköy Cemetery.

In addition to Şekeroğlu's family and relatives, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Murat Emir and MPs Cemal Enginyurt and Salih Uzun also attended the funeral.

Pensioner associations and retired civil servants came together in front of the Constitutional Court in Ankara on September 25 to express their demands for a round-robin raise.

During the action, retired police officer Ali Şekeroğlu attempted to end his life, and despite the interventions made in the hospital where he was taken seriously injured, he could not be saved.
