Minister Bolat's emphasis on trade with the USA: Our goal is to exceed 38.6 billion dollars

CONTRIBUTION TO Türkiye'S GLOBAL VISIBILITY

Pointing out that Turkish Airlines, Turkish TV series, gaming industry and developments in industry also play an important role in Türkiye's global visibility, Bolat stated that the Turkish diaspora contributes to the strengthening of Türkiye's economic, commercial and global connections.

TARGET HAS BEEN INCREASED IN Türkiye-USA TRADE

Minister Bolat also attended the ASKON 4th Turkish-American Business Meeting held in New York and evaluated Turkey-US economic and commercial relations with representatives of the Turkish and American business world.

Providing information about the program in his post on his virtual media account, Bolat stated that they exchanged views on improving ties between the Turkish and American business worlds, increasing mutual trade and investments, and creating new areas of cooperation.

"Today, at the ASKON 4th Turkish-American Business World Meeting in New York, we came together with the Chairman of the Organization of Turkish States Aksakals Delegation, Mr. Binali Yıldırım, our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, and our Members of Parliament, together with our business people from different states of the USA, and evaluated our Turkey-US economic and commercial relations. Turkey continues to offer important opportunities for global investors with its strong production capacity, advanced logistics infrastructure and strategic location. "While our economy grew by 2.5 percent in the first half of 2026, our goods exports in the last 12 months reached 280.3 billion dollars as of August, the highest level in the history of our Republic."

'WE PAY SPECIAL IMPORTANCE TO ECONOMIC AND TRADE RELATIONS WITH THE USA'

Stating that they attach special importance to economic and commercial relations with the USA, Bolat said that they aim to take the Turkey-US trade volume, which reached 38.6 billion dollars in 2025, to higher levels with stronger cooperation and mutual investments.

Bolat stated that there is a significant potential for new collaborations in many fields, especially energy, defense industry, automotive, machinery, food, textile, digital economy and high technology.

Minister Bolat made the following assessment:

"We aim to take our Turkey-USA trade volume, which reached 38.6 billion dollars in 2025, to much higher levels in a solid and permanent way, with stronger cooperation and mutual investments. We have a significant potential for new collaborations in many fields, especially energy, defense industry, automotive, machinery, food, textile, digital economy and high technology."

Bolat stated that they aim to bring together Türkiye's production and export power with the USA's technology, finance and innovation capacity more strongly.
