In his speech at the opening ceremony of Samsun City Hospital, Minister Yumaklı stated that they are working day and night to meet the needs of citizens with the understanding of work and service policy under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Stating that Samsun City Hospital will be put at the service of citizens with the presence of President Erdoğan, Yumaklı emphasized that this is an important investment and wished it to be beneficial.
President Erdoğan said, "The path to a strong Türkiye passes through strong agriculture." Recalling his words, Yumaklı said that, as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, they are working to meet the food needs of citizens and deliver safe food to the tables. Minister Yumaklı said, "For this, you need to make not only these investments, but also investments in the field of agriculture and forestry. What is it? Water and irrigation investments. Of course, we continue to work day and night to strengthen the infrastructure of agricultural production in Samsun, as in all our cities. The total amount of investments and supports provided in our city in the last 24 years is 108 billion liras. So, what has been gained to Samsun with these supports? The rate of products produced has increased by 32 percent. The animal population has increased by 32 percent. "The production of an extremely important and value-added product such as beekeeping increased by 19 percent." he said.
Yumaklı explained that 14 thousand projects have been supported so far within the scope of ORKÖY. "As you know, it was published last night. We have put into effect a 12.5 billion lira incentive and support package for rural development supports, with the signature of our President." Yumaklı continued as follows: "We have put into effect by publishing 11.3 billion lira for a total of 3 thousand 180 projects and 12.5 billion lira for 2 thousand 47 agricultural irrigation projects, that is, 1.2 billion lira for the structures that will equip our fields and gardens with modern irrigation systems, by publishing it in the Official Gazette last night with the signature of our President. These supports have a very important aspect. The 2 thousand 164 project is not only for family businesses but "1751 of these are reserved for our young and female entrepreneur brothers and sisters. You produce, we are with you as always. Of course, I have to say that the investments are not just about these supports, they will also result in an additional investment of approximately 20 billion liras." Emphasizing that they continue to work to strengthen the infrastructure of agricultural production in Samsun, Yumaklı said, "Samsun's annual agricultural product has reached 45 billion liras. We always say that the biggest share in our country's success is our producing provinces. We are ranked first in Europe and seventh in the world with an agricultural product of 83.2 billion dollars.
