Suspects who shared obscene content were arrested in Bartın

In line with the "2026-2035 Family and Population Decade Vision" of the Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek, an operation was carried out against social media users within the scope of the circular titled "Protection of the Family, Youth and Society from Content and Formations that Are Contrary to General Morality and Have a Negative Affect" and was sent to the 81 provincial Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on September 14, 2026.

Ş.Ç., who was detained for allegedly earning income under the name of the subscription system by sharing obscene images on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. and K.Ö. An investigation was launched by the Bartın Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the suspects on the grounds of "obscenity" and "laundering of criminal assets". Within the scope of the investigation, searches were carried out at the residence addresses of the suspects and digital materials seized during the searches were confiscated.

The suspects, who were referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace with a request for their arrest after their statements were taken by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, were arrested by the court and sent to prison. In addition, while measures were taken on the bank accounts of the suspects within the scope of the "Law on Prevention of Laundering Proceeds of Crime", a decision was made to block access to the internet addresses that were found to contain obscene content.

It was stated that the investigations carried out by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in line with the relevant legislation and the relevant circular are continuing in order to protect the family, young people and society from immoral and negative content.
