The Lazio stage of Borgo diVino on tour, the cycle of events promoted by the Association "The most beautiful villages in Italy", returns to Nemi, on the lakeside of the village of Castelli Romani.
The event in Nemi will be the eighteenth of 25 events of a national tour in the circuit of "The most beautiful villages in Italy", with a calendar distributed among all the Italian regions which also touched the historic center of San Marino, the Association's International Guest Village.
Three days of appointments
Three days that will allow the public of wine lovers to get to know wines, listen to the stories of the producers and savor typical gastronomic specialties of the area in one of the most fascinating villages in Lazio. More than 100 labels to taste, over 45 wineries from Lazio and other regions such as Puglia, Veneto, Calabria, Tuscany, Piedmont, Marche, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo, Umbria, Sicily, Molise.
To accompany the tastings there will be gastronomic specialities, including selected cheeses and cured meats, traditional fried foods, pinse of various flavours, fettuccine with seafood, traditional Italian fried foods, scampi cream risotto and much more.

The program
The event will take place in the alleys of the historic center of Nemi, along the promenade that connects Terrazza Byron to Palazzo Ruspoli on the following days and times:
â Friday 11 September from 18.00 to 24.00
â Saturday 12 September from 12.00 to 24.00
â Sunday 13 September from 12.00 to 22.00
Along the route of the event, visitors will find a tasting route with ad hoc stations dedicated to the cellars, an educational route on the world of wine and a food area. For wine tastings, visitors will be able to purchase a voucher at a cost of âŹ20 including 8 wine tastings; a kit consisting of bag and glass will also be delivered.
The tasting voucher can be purchased directly on site, during the days of the event, or online on the website https://borgodivino.it/nemi/. Gastronomic specialties, however, can be purchased directly on site.

The Sala delle Armi of Palazzo Ruspoli is the setting for two masterclasses dedicated to oenological excellence:
- Saturday 12th (7.00 pm): âThe great Italian reds comparedâ

Not only wine and local flavors but the event will also be enriched with musical and artistic contents that will fill the three days, from jazz to the great classics and international and contemporary pop songs.
Palazzo Ruspoli will host the free exhibition âEmotional Ascentâ: a visual and sensorial dialogue between the architecture of the medieval palace and the artistic works of the artist Pierluigi Casagrande.
The works, created on a new expressive support such as industrial cardboard tubes, transform the staircase of Palazzo Ruspoli into a real "climb through emotions, images and memories", accompanying the visitor step by step up to the Hall of Arms. The exhibition is free to enter, opening on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.
