Taichung City Environmental Protection Bureau's "Baozhilin Waste Furniture Recycling Center" turns decay into magic and another +1! Recent innovations have involved processing irreparable wood such as furniture backboards, drawer bottoms, discarded tables and corners, and replaced desks and chairs from Taichung City schools into green cultural and creative products such as "wooden notebooks" and "youbao pens", allowing materials that would otherwise become waste to continue to have value.

"Baozhilin Wasted Furniture Recycling Center" adheres to the environmental protection spirit of "loving things, cherishing them, and repairing them if they can." After repairing the furniture and home appliances that have been recycled, they are then open to the public to buy them at low prices, so that the resources can be recycled. In order to meet the trend of modern people pursuing personalization, laser engraving technology has been specially introduced for customization, so that people's personal portraits or hand-painted paintings can be engraved on the wooden covers.

The Environmental Protection Bureau pointed out that in recent years, citizens' acceptance of the "circular economy" has increased significantly.
