Bei der Wahl 2022 erreichte die Minderheitenpartei 5,7 Prozent der Zweitstimmen. Ihr bis dahin bestes Ergebnis hatte die von der Fünf-Prozent-Hürde befreite Partei 1950 mit 5,5 Prozent erzielt.

Es sei nicht unbedingtes Ziel, in eine Landesregierung einzuziehen, sagte Dirschauer. «Der SSW hat in seiner langen Geschichte gezeigt, dass wir mit konstruktiver Opposition viel für die Menschen erreichen können.» Der 45-Jährige versicherte aber, das Land nicht unregierbar zu machen. Entscheidend sei, wie die Ziele des SSW am besten umgesetzt werden können. Man gehe ohne Koalitionsaussage in die Wahl und spreche mit allen demokratischen Parteien.

Eckpunkte für Zukunftsfestigkeit des Landes beschlossen

Darüber hinaus beschloss der Parteitag einen Entschließungsantrag mit «Eckpunkten, um Schleswig-Holstein zukunftsfest zu machen». Demnach wolle man mehr pragmatische und ideologiefreie Lösungen aus Skandinavien, etwa in den Bereichen Bildung, Kinderbetreuung und Digitalisierung, übernehmen. Zudem soll der Mittelstand statt Prestigeprojekten gefördert und regionale Wertschöpfung generiert werden. Auch soll massiv in Infrastruktur und die Modernisierung der öffentlichen Verwaltung investiert werden.
