The "2026 Taitung Most Beautiful Starry Sky" series of events organized by the Taitung County Government is about to start. The first event will be held at 6:30 pm on June 6 at Lulian Island Beach in Jinzun, Donghe Township. The county government stated that Jinzun in Donghe Township has unique landforms and development. It has a wide view of the sea and is also an internationally renowned surfing resort. During the day, you can explore the mountain and sea scenery and local culture. At night, due to the low light pollution environment, it becomes an excellent place for stargazing. Tourists and the public are welcome to come to Jinzun Beach to listen to the sea, listen to songs and watch the stars.

The county government stated that the first starry sky concert will be led by the semi-hit singer Hong Peiyu, and will be performed by the creative duo Theseus and local groups Urban Island and Dongbuqing Relay. As the night falls and the lights gradually converge, the auditorium stretches over the coast. With the sound of waves and live music, you can see the stars in the sky when you look up, creating an immersive starry sky experience that combines nature and performance, and opens the prelude to summer nights in the intertwining of the coastal starry sky and the sound of waves.

In addition to music performances, a catering market incorporating Taitung's local delicacies is planned on site, allowing the public to enjoy the performance while also savoring the local flavor. The event will also provide paid shuttle services, departing from Taitung Railway Station at 4 pm on the 6th, passing through Taitung Transfer Station, and arriving at the event venue, improving the overall convenience of participation and allowing more people to easily enter the event site.

In addition, the "Create the Starry Sky" interactive experience was introduced for the first time this year. The audience can draw their own stars in real time through their mobile phones. After the event, a digital starry sky poster limited to that night will be generated, allowing participation not only to appreciate it, but also to become part of the co-creation.
