The specialist sergeant who died with a mob bullet at a wedding was buried

Marine Specialist Sergeant Serkan Deveci (25), who lost his life with the bullet fired from the gun Abidin Ü. fired into the air at a wedding in Konya's Emirgazi district, was sent off on his last journey. It was learned that Deveci, who was working in Istanbul, came to his hometown on leave for a contract.

The incident in Konya took place yesterday around 20:00 in Demirci District of Emirgazi district. Allegedly; Abidin Ü. fired a gun into the air at the wedding. The bullet from the gun hit the chest of Marine Specialist Sergeant Serkan Deveci, who was on leave.

Upon notice, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the address. It was determined that Deveci died under the control of paramedics. After the investigation at the scene, Deveci's lifeless body was taken to the morgue for autopsy. After the incident, Abidin Ü. was taken into custody.

The body of Specialist Sergeant Serkan Deveci, whose autopsy procedures were completed, was delivered to his family. A military ceremony was held for Deveci at the Demirci District Cemetery. In addition to his family, military personnel and his comrades attended the ceremony. Deveci was buried after the funeral prayer. It was learned that Serkan Deveci, who was working in Istanbul, came to his hometown, Emirgazi district of Konya, to be contracted.
