The Central Executive Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party nominated the non-district legislator Shen Boyang to run for mayor of Taipei on May 13. Lai Qingde revealed that Shen Boyang believes that "Taiwan has gone global, and Taipei City should also go global." That is to say, Taipei City should use its rich folk vitality and democratic values ​​to communicate with the world on an equal footing.
